Why should you choose a Prosthodontist?
Prosthodontists receive three extra years of specialty training to master the skills needed to restore unhealthy and damaged teeth. The American Dental Association (ADA) has affirmed that specialists, such as Prosthodontists, with advanced knowledge and skill are vital in maintaining one’s dental health. Prosthodontists are the preferred specialists when it comes to cosmetic dental procedures and full mouth rehabilitation and are the only ADA recognized specialists in implant, reconstructive and esthetic/cosmetic dentistry.
Complex esthetic improvement and full mouth rehabilitation require the specialized knowledge and skill of a Prosthodontist. Due to the comprehensive training, patients can be assured, when restoring one tooth or undergoing a full mouth makeover, that they are receiving the highest level of care possible. Prosthodontists focus not only on appearance but also function, comfort, and long-term maintainability of all restorative treatment.
Combining artistry with science and technical skills, a Prosthodontist serves
as the “architect” or “quarterback” of a dental team. A Prosthodontist often
leads a team of general dentists, specialists, and other health professionals
to find solutions to a patient’s dental needs. You should do research before
deciding on your restorative doctor so that you can be sure you’re in the best
possible hands. As an ADA recognized specialty, Prosthodontists are qualified
to provide state-of-the-art care and can complete the following treatments:
- Cosmetic Dentistry (Crowns, Bridges, Veneers)
- Dental Implants
- CBCT Imaging and Treatment Planning.
- Same Day, Incision-Free Implants, and Crowns.
- Immediate Load Restorations (Single Unit – Full Arch)
- Hard and Soft Tissue Grafting.
- Full Mouth Reconstruction Fixed and or Removable.
- Challenging Removable Dentures and Partials.
- TMJ Diagnosis and Non-Surgical Treatment.
- Sleep Apnea Diagnosis and Non-Surgical Treatment.
